When you first receive your Predator Cue, and every 6 months after, you should clean the Uni-Loc Joint. This is because they are precision manufactured and even the smallest amount of dirt can cause a problem.
The best way to clean the Uni-Loc Joint is with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. Use the Q-tip to clean the inside threads and the bore of the insert in the shaft. You should then use rubbing alcohol and a clean rag to clean the joint pin and threads.
You should always use joint protectors to keep the joint clean and protect it from damage.
